Water had flooded the first floor. That's when I noticed the girl.” Giorgia is in the middle of the room with Roberta next to her. The first one is holding Jenny, her one-year-old niece. Roberta is clutching something tiny to her chest: it is Diego, wrapped in a blue blanket. He’s only 45 days old. The water around them is rising, overturning furniture and chairs... The firefighters are speechless. 20 meters above them, a six-ton helicopter is hovering, waiting for information. Ennio grabs the radio: “Guys, we have two children... They're very small.”

Ximena's dad lost his job and it doesn't seem like he is trying to get one. She leaves school to support her family but a power war will break out between her and her father when his authority figure is threatened.

It is 1926 when the famous cyclist Costante Girardengo finds himself in Paris for an important race; his friend Sante Pollastri, a bandit wanted in Italy and France, is also in the French capital. The destinies of the two seem to come together again.
